The upscale market is no easy nut to crack, let alone master, but Ashley Development in Edgewood, Kentucky has done both.  The company was founded in 1976 by John Yeager (photo center), who had spent several years in the upscale homebuilding industry.
Along with partners Paul Bogenschutz (photo left) and Bill Kreutzjans (photo right), John began to assemble a team of quality-minded craftsmen and suppliers. The combination of philosophy, management and experience has resulted in an astounding twenty eight year track record.
A reputation for excellence
Ashley builds custom homes ranging in price from $400,000 to several million dollars. We have developed the reputation for excellence in the growing area around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Custom home building is not all we do, with operations extending to include Commercial Construction, Remodeling and Land Development. And, Ashley will build on the owner's lot.
Our operational philosophy is that of quality control and quality management.  Our staff of 28 employees all have a stake in the quality of our product...as such, the success of Ashley Development. We meet as a team and set goals for the company. Each year we will build up to 22 homes custom homes. We are one of the largest custom home builders in the Metro area but we treat each project as the only home that matters.
And that is where Ashley excels. Our managers take the time and effort to listen and understand completely the customers' desires. Our Builders, Craftsmen and Suppliers pay special attention to detailing...inside and out, providing a level of workmanship not often encountered in the industry.
The end result is a project that not only pleases the owner, but also provides a sense of pride and accomplishment for the Ashley team.
